In addition, Juan Soto is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Oracle Spain, member of the Advisory Board of Nokia Spain and Secuware and Chairman of the Board of Ambrosetti Spain and the Dutch-Spanish Foundation. In November 2002, he was appointed by the Spanish Minister of Science and Technology as Chairman of the Special Commission for Development of Spainīs Information Society. He is also Director of several prestigious associations and institutions in Spain, including the Association for Management Progress (APD), The Official Spanish Bar of Telecommunications, the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Cataloniaīs Polytechnic Foundation, Instituto de Empresa, European University of Madrid, Saint Luis University, The Rogelio Segovia Foundation (Telecommunications), The School of Applied Finance, the Centre of Architecture and the Encuentro Foundation.
