Mr. Trainer, a recognized and often-awarded leader in the IT field who throughout the course of his 36-year IT career, has helped bring the likes of Citigroup, Eli Lilly and Company, Reebok International, and Joseph E. Seagram and Sons to the forefront of their industries. He has been SVP/CIO of PepsiCo, Inc. since May 2003 responsible for 2,500+ IT professionals world-wide. Mr. Trainer's mission is transforming IT into a world-class organization while enabling a Business Transformation/Process Harmonization initiative globally. His long list of credits include receipt of InformationWeek's CIO of the Year award for his IT stewardship of Reebok's global business process redesign, tribute in CIO magazine's 10th anniversary issue as "Quintessential CIO"

for his vision and leadership, and inclusion as a select member of specialized government task forces such as the President's Council for "United States Strategic Infrastructure in 21st Century" and the Institute for Strategic International Studies.

Mr. Trainer has served on customer advisory boards of Fortune 500 companies, aiding industry giants such as NCR Corporation and Computer Associates. In addition, he has worked over the years to elevate the role of the CIO from the backroom to the boardroom, having helped found the Working Council for CIOs of the Advisory Board and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association CIO Forum. Mr.

Trainer lectures internationally on business and technology issues, having shared the agenda of 1998's "World Congress of Information Technology" with globally prominent leaders such as Margaret Thatcher, Mikhail Gorbachev, Steve Forbes, Michael Dell, Larry Ellison, and Scott McNealy. He is often featured in top business and trade publications including, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, The Financial Times, CIO Magazine and InformationWeek, and has also been profiled on CBS's "American Edition" and CNBC's "Technology Edge" television broadcast programs.
