Raw Materials
The raw materials of the scrap batteries are roughly classified by physical means. After the toxic and hazardous substances in the batteries are treated for environmental protection, the copper, iron, positive and negative materials are efficiently separated and can be used to make new battery material.

Battery Materials
Graphite is initially removed from the solution, followed by Co, Ni, and Mn, which are precipitated in oxide form. The Li remaining in solution is then precipitated as LiOH, Li 2 CO 3 , by crystallization, or as a mixture of LiOH and Li 2 CO 3 by electrochemical precipitation.
